II International Furniture Finishing Symposium

The Symposium took place at the CEMER center in Encinas Reales (Córdoba Spain), an important school for professional painters owned by the local Andalusian government. This region, near Lucena city, is reputed for its Furniture Industry. Some of Graco's competitors were present as well as some product manufacturers such as ICA.

The symposium took place from 20 June to 23 June 2011. Around 40 people attended from different professional schools from Spain and Portugal and had the opportunity not just to hear about the latest technologies in painting systems and material tendencies, but also had the opportunity to try these. Graco gave a clear explanation on the solutions Graco offers in this sector, and also explained why Graco is a market leader.

As mentioned, all the participants had the opportunity to follow a practical session where they could paint with Graco spray guns using a ProMix™ 2KS. Graco's distributor Luís Domínguez e Hijo S.L. who also collaborated as sponsor of the symposium, was responsible for the practical session and gave the necessary explanations and security warnings to the participants. Some other Graco finishing products were also present such as Merkur™ and Mini Merkur™ pumps.

The symposium ended successfully on 23 June with the presentation of diplomas to the participants.
