 Graco is pleased to announce the release of the enclosed wet cup throat seal for the 4-Ball Pump Product line. The new 4-Ball pump enhances proven technology with the addition of the enclosed wet cup, spring-loaded packings and lubrication pump. These innovations minimize operator interaction resulting in less maintenance and ensuring consistent lubrication and loading for longer packing life.
The new 4-Ball pumps will be offered as standard configuration in the High-Flo™, High-Flo Plus, Viscount™ and E-Flo pump assemblies.
The new 4-Ball lowers are configured standard with the enclosed wet cup technology with spring-loaded packings. Kits are available to change the enclosed wet cup technology into open wet cup with either spring-loaded or adjustable packings. Current 4-Ball pumps can be upgraded either by purchasing an upgrade kit (1000 – 4000 cc lowers only), or a new lower, keeping the existing air motor.
Features & Benefits:
- Improved coatings: standard Chromex™ rods produce durable pump performance. Available Maxlife™ cylinders provide maximum abrasion and wear resistance.
- New enclosed wet cup: minimizes operator interaction for reduced maintenance and maintains consistent lubrication for packings resulting in longer life of pumps.
- Spring-loaded packings: increases the life of throat packings and provide consistent torque - no operator torque adjustment required.
- Standard in-outlet NPT or tri-clamp, optional different NPT and/or BSPP adaptors available.
- Lubrication bottle: “See-through” bottle for visual checks and screw-in design for easy access and refill.
- More common components – making cylinders and pistons easily interchangeable between pump sizes.
- Simple upgrade of existing old type 4-ball lowers possible.
- Via a selection of special connection kits, older types of 4-Ball pumps can be retrofitted with the new 4-Ball lowers, such as for President™, Senator™, Bulldog™, NXT™ 2200, NXT™ 3400 air motors and Viscount™ II hydraulic motors.
